PurMinds Expands Diagnostic Research Through Taiwan Healthcare Partnership

PurMinds Enterprises, Inc. announced the signing of a collaboration agreement with SpectroChip Inc. , a Taiwan-based developer of photonic-chip sensing and portable testing technologies, and Kaohsiung Municipal Siaogang Hospital, operated by Kaoh siung Medical University, to support teaching, research, and clinical validation of point-of-care (POC) diagnostic technologies and testing solutions.

The collaboration brings together SpectroChip's photonic chip-based portable testing technology, PurMinds' SwiftLabTM Platform and precision-medicine solutions, and Siaogang Hospital's clinical research capabilities. The parties intend to establish the joint "PurMinds / SpectroChip Global Clinical Validation Testing Center" for teaching, research, and clinical-validation activities, as a framework for evaluating diagnostic performance, assessing testing workflows, and advancing research into continuously improved POC performance, subject to review by an institutional review board (IRB), institutional approvals and applicable regulatory requirements.

Specific research projects will be established through separate written arrangements defining their scope, responsibilities, timelines, funding, and deliverables. Activities involving human participants, specimens, personal data, or medical-device clinical studies will proceed in accordance with applicable ethical, regulatory, and institutional requirements. The designation does not represent the establishment of a separate legal entity or dedicated physical facility.
