Description

  • Lead execution of the China strategic agenda in partnership with regional and global leadership.
  • Translate enterprise strategy into regional business priorities, roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Identify strategic opportunities and business risks within the China market and recommend actions to leadership.

  • Partner with China leadership to improve operational performance, productivity and commercial execution.
  • Monitor strategic KPIs and business performance, escalating risks and recommending corrective actions.

  • Lead regional strategic initiatives including capacity expansion, digital transformation, productivity programs, customer experience improvements and operational excellence.
  • Drive cross-functional execution of complex initiatives spanning manufacturing, engineering, commercial, quality, finance and supply chain.

  • Own governance forums for regional strategic programs and investment initiatives.
  • Ensure decisions, actions and dependencies are effectively managed across leadership teams.

  • Represent China within the Global ADS PMO, ensuring regional priorities are reflected in global planning while driving alignment to enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

Highest qualification: University

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10-15 years of experience in program management, project management, PMO, business operations, consulting, transformation, or related fields
  • Experience working within multinational matrix organizations
  • Experience working within China or APAC
  • Strong organizational and execution skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proven ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with ability to influence across functions and leadership levels
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and ambiguity
  • Experience building or improving PMO processes, governance structures, tools, or operational frameworks preferred
  • Ability to balance structure and flexibility while driving measurable progress
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills required; familiarity with enterprise project management and collaboration tools preferred
  • Experience within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, manufacturing, healthcare, or other complex industries preferred
