Description

  • Effectively sell Ferring Pharmaceuticals' Specialty Medicines Gastroenterology portfolio to health care professionals, pharmacies, and institutions on designated territory within Victoria West
  • Meet or exceed designated product sales targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities through sales data analysis and market insights.
  • Implement sales and marketing strategies and approved tactical execution in line with the sales and marketing plan.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, provide product and Territory Manager level support to medical practitioners and allied health care professionals.
  • As part of an exceptional team, work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders including but not limited to sales, marketing, and medical.
  • Leverage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to increase Ferring Pharmaceuticals' business.
  • Be knowledgeable and up to date on product information.
  • Identify, target, and classify key prescribers and opinion leaders.
  • Achieve effective call rates and coverage over entire territory, which will include some regional and country areas.
  • Forward plan field activities, make strategic cold calls and appointments.
  • Attend medical or sales meetings and conferences, which may fall on weekends or non-working weekdays.
  • Uncover and promptly report on competitor intelligence.
  • Fulfil all reporting requirements as stipulated by the National Sales Manager and Ferring Pharmaceuticals.
  • Provide updated, accurate records of all field activity in the CRM system (OCE) in a timely manner. Review and report on sales and territory activity monthly
  • Work within allocated budgets and follow expense-requisitioning procedures.
  • Report all Adverse Drug Reactions to the Compliance Manager.
  • Ensure the proper care and use of all assigned company property.
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.

Qualifications

Highest qualification: University

  • Minimum 3 years specialty sales experience
  • Understands and demonstrates effective selling principles.
  • Is highly motivated and results orientated.
  • Works well independently and within a team.
  • Exhibits excellent organisational and time management skills, delivering outcomes within required timeframes.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and critical thinking by analysing data to generate insights, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Well-developed IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Is able to understand medical terminology and literature and can relay medical information effectively.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills, utilises excellent communication skills and demonstrates intercultural adaptability and sensitivity.
  • Demonstrates excellent English language skill
