Description
- Create 5 years strategy of Japan Bio BD and roadmap
- Set Bio BD priorities and strategies according to the company growth strategy, and execute BD&L deals both licensing-in and out by professionally managing external partners and internal processes: Partner identification, Business case creation, Deal negotiation, Contract drafting, internal approval
- Internal and external Bio BD stakeholders’ management
- Japan local Bio BD due diligence facilitation
- Support Bio Product Launch after deal sign
- Explore new opportunities for Japan Bio BD
- Listen to the market / competitions / financial communities, and share key findings with management team members
Qualifications
Highest qualification: University
Minimum B.A. in the biomedical field. MBA in Marketing or equivalent Master’s Degree in related field, i.e. Pharmaceutical Management is better.
Experience/Capabilitiy
- Minimum 5 years of Business development experience in Health care industry or M&A consultant company.
- Proven ability to efficiently lead multiple projects in a matrixed environment with high degree of independence
- Fluency in English and Japanese is required
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to find solutions in a resource constrained environment
- Strong ability to effectively communicate ideas and lead others to accomplish challenging goals and objectives
