Description
- Develop and own content strategy and messaging across the organization, creating integrated storytelling campaigns that span all digital channels — including Waters.com, blogs, email, social media, and collateral materials
- Partner with Campaign Marketing, Corporate Communications, and the Creative Services teams to ideate and produce content aligned with corporate messaging and strategic initiatives
- Partner with Product teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and relevance of all content
- Transform technical and scientific content into accessible, customer-focused copy optimized for engagement (click-through rate, time on page, and reduced bounce rate)
- Write, edit, and proof a wide range of content including whitepapers, application notes, product copy, campaign messaging, blog posts, case studies, and executive communications
- Translate complex scientific and technical information into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences including researchers, lab managers, procurement teams, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Identify content gaps and opportunities based on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights
- Support lead generation efforts through gated content, nurture sequences, and SEO-optimized web copy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, or a related role — biotechnology, life sciences, or a related scientific field strongly preferred.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and complexity for different audiences and formats.
- Strong understanding of the biotechnology landscape, including familiarity with research workflows, instrumentation, or biologics development.
- Experience developing content for B2B audiences and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience working with and maintaining a consistent brand tone/voice and style guide
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, content management systems, and marketing automation platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in English with a focus in Life Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
