Description

Build relationships with clients.
Identify new business opportunities.
Ensure prompt follow-up with referred clients.
Capitalize on business opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
Successfully negotiate complex sales.
Create and conduct seminars that inform, engage, and raise awareness among stakeholders, in order to identify new clients for Agilent.
Manage a complex array of inquiries and relationships to maximize customer satisfaction while exceeding Agilent’s sales targets.
Provide market and product feedback to the R&D team.
Utilize the CRM system and other tools as needed to drive business growth.
Serve on field advisory teams, contributing to the development of next-generation products by incorporating customer insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
At least two years of experience in sales or a related scientific field
Strategic selling skills, with four or more years of relevant experience in industry, academia, or sales
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of molecular and atomic spectroscopy applications and workflows
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Solid presentation skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Comfortable driving high-intensity personal activity to achieve challenging sales targets
Ability to work effectively in a team within a complex matrix environment
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
