Regional Scientific Expertise: Serve as a regional (field-based) expert in the lifecycle management of tezepelumab across various therapeutic areas (e.g., asthma, nasal polyps, eosinophilic esophagitis).
Scientific Exchange with HCPs: Engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) as a scientific consultant to review emerging data in a scientific, objective, and unbiased manner.
HCP Engagement: Coordinate HCP participation in corporate initiatives such as advisory boards, speaker programs, and clinical trials.
Expert Identification: Identify HCPs possessing relevant scientific knowledge and expertise to collaborate on innovative research projects (basic, preclinical, and clinical) as part of targeted planning.
Internal Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal medical teams and cross-functional partners to ensure a coordinated and aligned approach with external stakeholders.
Understanding of the Local Healthcare System: Understand the local healthcare ecosystem and develop partnerships with decision-makers in specialty care to identify and share innovative ideas aimed at improving patient management.
Best Practice Sharing: Actively participate in sharing best practices and transformative ideas within the Scientific Affairs team.
Research Opportunities: Identify research opportunities with HCPs and connect them with Medical Advisors as part of the Externally Sponsored Research (ESR) process.
Education: Prior experience as a healthcare professional (PharmD, MD) or equivalent scientific background, specifically a PhD or MSc.
Industry Experience: At least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a role involving interaction with physicians, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the healthcare environment.
Therapeutic Expertise: Prior experience as a specialized MSL and/or expertise in pulmonology, allergology, and/or immunology is required.
Strong, effective, and proven communication skills (both written and oral), as well as presentation skills, in both French and English.
Scientific Aptitude: Excellent capacity for learning and assimilating scientific concepts and knowledge.
Communication: Proven skills in communication (oral and written) and presentation.
Leadership and Relationships: Demonstrated ability to build relationships, exercise leadership, and collaborate effectively within a team.
Organization and Autonomy: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously.
Mobility: Ability to travel frequently within Quebec and the Atlantic provinces, with occasional travel elsewhere in Canada and internationally.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license (a valid driving record abstract will be required at the time of hire).
