Description

  • Supports manufacturing operations within the Manufacturing Department as defined by Production Team Lead and Value Stream Manager.
  • Troubleshoot process & equipment problems promptly to minimize Manufacturing downtime.
  • Assemble products to support Manufacturing Assembly teams in order to achieve daily production rates given by the Production Manager.
  • Realize and control all his/her/their production operations with the requested quality, while respecting performance constraints and requirements (safety, security and environment)
  • Know and follow the safety rules related to equipment and people
  • Report with rigor and precision of their production to the shift leader / team leader
  • Ensure the cleanliness and permanent storage of the work environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing position, including:
    • Assembling complex mechanical or electronic systems
    • Troubleshooting and testing systems
    • Configuring/installing software for new assembly setups
  • Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and perform basic calculations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent computer literacy and technical aptitude
  • Knowledge of materials, products, equipment and associated processes
  • Excellent knowledge of quality, safety, security and environment standards & procedures
  • Experience in transmitting scope of work to Production Manager
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate instructions to other team members.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment - team spirit.
