Responsible to ensure Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is in place at 3PL
Deviation, CAPA and Effectiveness Check (EC) Management in coordination with MCCQ (Quality Department)
Manage Change Control activities related to their perimeter.
Compliance and audits
Work with Affiliate Quality (MCCQ) to ensure Quality compliance is in place
Ensure proper documentation is in place for audit purposes and group policies are followed to stay fully compliant (ensure compliance to local requirements for Self-Inspection)
Review periodically local SOPs and provide input on GOPs applicability where needed.
Participate in audits (Internal/External/GDP audit) from supply chain point of view.
Lead/Support stock count as per global processes. Prepare detailed stock count instructions and cut-off dates for 3PL and internal team.
Act as Key contact for internal control and external auditors.
Work with A2R Team to arrange external auditor's presence during physical stock count in 3PL warehouse
Supplier relationship management
Determine the value each supplier provides, and which ones are most critical/strategic to business continuity, operational excellence and performance.
Develop relationships with suppliers and build trust and mutually beneficial partnerships.
Work closely with MCCQ for induction of new suppliers / third parties.
Find cost savings and maximize the value of suppliers.
SLAs development
State the business objectives to be achieved.
Describe in detail the service to be provided.
Contributes to define KPIs, expected targets and pay against performance if required.
Describe reporting mechanism for measuring expected performance.
Describe remediation mechanism when performance standards are not achieved.
KPIs maintenance, performance and cost monitoring, management and control
Weekly / Monthly KPIs follow-up
Set up processes for monthly cost control (tracking of spend vs contract)
Approve 3PL invoices and partake in identifying areas of improvement and efficiencies for Sanofi and the 3PL.
Best business practices maintenance
Make sure best practices are aligned with our 3PL core model and key business rules.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to apply 3PL core model.
Process improvement and new initiatives contribution.
Contribute to core business process improvements to lead to more effective and efficient workflows.
Detect and share any inefficiency with relevant stakeholders to discuss any potential improvement.
Make use of KPIs / Performance to detect any improvement area.
Collect feedback ideas from the teams closest to 3PL management activity.
Qualifications
Experience in wide range of Logistics and warehouse activities.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Proficient in both verbal and written English
Preferred Skills/Expertise/Experience
Team player who can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlines.
Experience with leading teams and projects within the field of logistics, warehouse and supply chain.
Knowledge of import/export regulation and GDP an advantage
Excellent systems skills a strong advantage
Understanding of downstream processes and local trade environment within Pharma
Understanding of KPI's & SLA management
Strong Relationship Management (internal and external)
Understanding of process improvement/change management
Strong data analysis skills - Ability to interpret and draw conclusions from data.
Capacity to work transversally and in a dynamic environment.
