Research Officer

Description

• Interface and integrate embedded systems, sensors, and hardware components with optical systems for experimental and prototype platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain LabVIEW-based software for instrument control, data acquisition and GUI development.
• Development of optical hardware and systems for spectroscopy & imaging
• Develop AI models for data analytics
• Testing of developed spectroscopy system in phantoms
• Take part in clinical study in hospitals (data collection and analysis) for the translation of the developed systems
• Present study concepts, experimental results, new findings to the management team and the research team

Qualifications

• Bachelor?s or master?s degree in Electrical engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Optical Engineering or in related field with minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience with LabVIEW programming, hardware interfacing (DAQs, microcontrollers) and GUI development.
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems, electronic design/debugging, and optical system integration.
• Familiar with AI models and experience on AI algorithm development for image analysis
• Proficiency in Matlab, Python Solid works, Zemax, and ANSYS is highly beneficial
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Meticulous and highly organized
• Industry working experience is advantageous
