Planning and execution of non-clinical pharmacological studies (including animal studies) necessary for advancing oncology projects, such as drug candidate selection, mechanism of action (MOA) elucidation, and exploration of combination therapies
Conducting team-based research activities in collaboration with cross-functional research teams and internal/external stakeholders
Preparing patent specifications related to non-clinical pharmacology data for drug candidate patent filings
Providing guidance and scientific/technical advice to junior researchers as needed
Collaborating closely with researchers in chemistry, DMPK, and toxicology to formulate research strategies through regular discussions and study updates
Conducting experimental work in compliance with research regulations and standards
Qualifications
PhD with 3+ years or MS with 5+ years of relevant experience in pharmacology research
Desire and ability to work in cross-functional, flexible and team-oriented environment
Well-balanced communication skills in Japanese and in English
