Description
- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment while leading and developing a team of professionals.
- Lead and develop a team approach, coach and make decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and people needs to execute within the FIBI APAC Region.
- Act as regional distributed control system (DCS) product owner – accountable for the end-to-end performance and reliability.
- Provide regional governance for the business including identification of acceptable risk tolerance to meet business requirements related to instrumentation, automation and control.
- Lead localization of global standards in the region and provide insights and feedback for the improvement of global standards.
- Establish regional metrics in alignment with global standards and benchmark with global peers to ensure effective utilization and integrity of instrumentation, automation and control solutions.
- Develop regional instrumentation, automation and control roadmap to meet lifecycle asset performance strategy, develop business case for innovative technologies, and prototype/pilot new technologies.
- Manage service level requirements and agreements for supporting functions and third parties to meet business requirements.
- Provide functional requirements and actively participate in technology selection for innovative (technology) development in alignment with strategy and partnering with key stakeholders across the organization globally and regionally.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Process Control Engineer field or equivalent experience
- Have 8 - 10 years minimum of related technical and 5 years supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience with implementation, lifecycle management, and sustainment of Industrial Control Systems, Distributed Control Systems, Process Control and Automation. (ex. Rockwell, Siemens, ABB, etc.)
- Practical experience implementing industry standards and regional regulations related to instrumentation, automation and control.
- Ability to travel up to 30%
