Catalyst Clinical Research, a contract research organization (CRO) providing highly customizable solutions to the global biopharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, has once again been named to Inc.'s Best Workplaces list, a prestigious annual recognition of American companies that excel in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture. Catalyst is honored to be among the 514 companies recognized this year, its third on the annual list, underscoring its continued commitment to fostering a culture-centric, people-first environment.
Inc. selected this year's honorees from thousands of submissions, evaluating each company through a comprehensive employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace. The survey assessed key areas such as management effectiveness, employee benefits, professional development, and overall workplace culture. Company benefits were also audited to determine overall scores and rankings.
"Our approach is to elevate a strong culture which, in turn, supports our employees," said Nik Morton, President and CEO, Catalyst Clinical Research. "Our values—collaboration, commitment, flexibility, learning, and listening—provide a solid foundation across the organization, allowing colleagues to deliver for each other and for our clients. This recognition highlights how culture can drive business success."
Each year Catalyst uses the results from the survey to develop and iterate programs that create a responsive connection.
"Catalyst offers employees benefits, training, and a workplace culture that is intentionally focused into every aspect of our clinical solutions and partnerships," said Allison Crumpler, Vice President, People and Culture, Catalyst Clinical Research. "Our Core Catalyst Culture keeps employees highly engaged, which has helped us earn this recognition for a third time."
Highlights from Catalyst Clinical Research's 2025 employee survey include:
- 96% cumulative employee engagement score. More than three-quarters of employees are considered "highly" engaged.
- 85% of employees agreed that Catalyst has a great culture, highlighting "flexibility," "collaboration," and "supportive of employee's needs" as key strengths.
- 92% feel their manager truly cares about them as people.
- 86% of employees express confidence and trust in senior leadership to guide the organization toward future success.
"Inc.'s Best Workplaces program celebrates the exceptional organizations whose workplace cultures address their employees' welfare and needs in meaningful ways," says Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc. "As companies expand and adapt to changing economic forces, maintaining such a culture is no small feat. Yet these honorees have not only achieved it—they continue to elevate the employee experience through thoughtful benefits, engagement, and a deep commitment to their teams."
