You will conduct make-or-buy analyses, platform concepts, and standardization.
You will document projects according to CS (e.g., SCM (FS) concept; supplier risk analysis).
You will maintain item-related master data in the ERP system.
You will request the required material compliance certificates.
You will manage ramp-up management in collaboration with operations.
You will report on forward sourcing activities and KPIs within the project.
You will support purchasing during the end-of-life phase of products/items.
You will participate in cross-functional supplier selection, development, and evaluation.
You will implement, adapt, and optimize forward sourcing tools and processes.
You will act as the technical interface to Eppendorf stakeholders.
You have a degree in business administration, industrial engineering, general engineering, chemistry, physics, or a related field.
You have many years of experience in international procurement and supply chain management or product development.
You have in-depth purchasing knowledge.
You are an expert in forward sourcing and project purchasing.
You have several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in agile development.
You have experience in managing cross-functional activities to optimize material costs for components, assemblies, and systems.
You have experience in cost analysis and target costing.
You are willing to travel, both to internal and external stakeholders, and possess intercultural skills.
You have a strong technical understanding, ideally in polymers.
You have strong analytical skills and a structured working style.
You have strong communication skills and a competent demeanor.
You have good knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
You communicate fluently in German and English.
