Lodging applications for AZ medicines to be considered for PHARMAC funding
Identifying, pursuing and managing funding arrangements and tenders as opportunity presents
Maintaining strong relationships with key funding stakeholders and patient groups to support PHARMAC funding
Work with cross-functional teams to develop optimised market access strategies for New Zealand that are aligned with global brand strategy
Develop compelling product value propositions, and pricing arrangements that achieve the right balance of sustainability and profitability
Design and implement affordability programs that balance patient access with budget considerations.
Oversee budgets in compliance with Astra Zeneca finance and accounting requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Strong collaboration experience & skills
Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in a senior role within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical market including market access, marketing, medical affairs, account management, and/or sales.
Strong understanding of the New Zealand healthcare system, market access landscape and the legal/regulatory environment for pharmaceuticals/biopharmaceuticals
Ability to think strategically and to translate strategy into tactical implementation and to motivate people to implement strategy
Collaboration and leadership skills, including the ability to gain consensus and act within ambiguous, complex matrix organizations
Results oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Thorough understanding of customer and industry marketing practices and trends
Comfort with working autonomously with regular local travel and a 100% home office environment
