Develop and implement the business plan for BD Interventional Surgery Business Unit solutions in the fields of Hernia repair, Biosurgery, Infection Prevention and Breast to grow sales and market penetration in the region to realize full customer potential
Work in close with business partners and distributors to execute annual business and strategic plan, to expand customer base and launch New Products.
Maintain exceptional level of knowledge of assigned product portfolio and conduct regular product and clinical training to distributor’s sales force and end user customers
Provide in the field clinical support to end user customers (surgeons) in the Operating Room to drive product usage and adoption. Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs)
Work closely with EU marketing teams to provide ongoing trainings on product and clinical updates for the Distributor’s sales force. Participate in new product launches in the region in close contact and coordination with Marketing teams
Plan, organize and conduct regional professional education workshops and programs
Work with distributors to collect, analyse and deliver information on market trends and dynamics, reimbursement, current clinical practice, competition, pricing
Ensure all BDI available resources (marketing, clinical, educational, technical) are used effectively
Qualifications
Previous sales, clinical and marketing experience in the Medical Device industry is prerequisite. Particularly in the Surgical/Hernia/Biosurgery field would be preferable
Sales professionals with a clinical background
University graduate
Fluent in English
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Need to be able to travel 40% of the time including overnight stays
