Description
- Achieve Sales and Margin target set by the company.
- Visit customers to promote and sell the responsible products line (Lab consumables and Equipment).
- Manage responsible distributors and work with them to maximize the opportunities.
- Provide technical and product support to customers.
- Provide customers with timely responses and quotations.
- Attend joint customer visits with key distributors.
- Work with a product/portfolio manager to create sales plans, selling strategies and Marketing Promotions.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Provide Weekly Report of activity, distributor meetings and open opportunities.
- Manage and maintain CRM(C4C) to capture data on activity, leads and actions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemistry or corresponding science
- Experience: Broad experience of selling Life Science consumables and equipment. (min 3 years)
- Strong technical knowledge of Life Science Research
- Strong commercial awareness; relationship builder
- Strong negotiation skills
- A team player who can work effectively with a range of internal stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Able to prioritize workload and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and driven
- Full driving license is essential for this role, as you will be travelling around the region to your customers daily
