Serve as the primary field-based point of contact for a portfolio of cancer care sites, facilitating successful GSK product integration and utilization.
Build strategic, collaborative external business relationships with targeted institutional key stakeholders; engage and partner to develop patient-focused solutions to access new GSK hematology oncology treatments within hospital and/or patient support program (PSP).
Investigate, uncover and map current patient models of care for assigned institutions: site-specific and/or provincial treatment pathway processes, policies, protocols and workflows for hematology/oncology medicines, institutional key influencers/decision makers, systems/software integration and considerations for optimal PSP implementation.
Identify clinical, economic and operational gaps and barriers and lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to optimize patient access and outcomes.
Influence and shape decisions within institutions that support operational integration of new treatments and optimal care pathway placement aligned to approved label.
Ensure launch success by optimizing the patient journey and building solutions that are at the intersection of patient journey pain points, brand priorities and health systems barriers.
Demonstrate leadership in gathering and sharing timely insights from external healthcare community that inform and shape cross-functional activities.
Evaluate PSP customer experience for each assigned institution and communicates performance on both quarterly and on an “as needed” basis. Identifies regional trends and contributes insights to PSP Lead/Commercial team.
Understand each institution and support them during transitional periods (e.g. obtention of drug public coverage)
Conduct an in-depth analysis to uncover care gaps, local barriers and key customer needs to drive strategic objectives for the institutions.
Enhance operational excellence and innovation to optimize care path for patients receiving treatment, identifying process optimizations and insights as PSP evolves.
Qualifications
University degree, health sciences or business administration preferable.
Strong background in pharmaceutical industry, life sciences or medical/nursing.
5+ years of experience in oncology and strategic account management working with high influence key stakeholders in hospital/institutional setting.
Proven ability to build external relationships quickly and credibly and influence key decision makers.
Strong business acumen and sense of urgency.
