Develop chromatography, electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, and/or biophysical techniques for the characterization of therapeutic proteins.
Develop binding and cell-based assays to assess the potency and biological activity of novel therapeutic proteins and characterize the impact of chemical/structural modifications on bioactivity.
Optimize specialized protein and peptide separation techniques to enable the analysis of product quality attributes of interest.
Troubleshoot equipment and experimental problems.
Perform analytical tests to characterize the structure of therapeutic proteins, including antibody drug conjugates.
Compile and assess analytical data to prepare reports or manuscripts for the study.
May support lab automation.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a PhD in Analytical Chemistry or other related field
Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship
Previous work experience in a laboratory setting required
Previous experience with liquid chromatography or mass spectrometry
