Build and drive the execution of cross-functional local program strategy, including translation and integration of Global “Strategy” and “Innovation” components into local strategy.
Maximize value of programs to Amgen by guiding flexible strategies and efficient resource allocation that improve final outcome and ensure objectivity and rigor in cross-functional decision making (Value, Cost, Risk).
Develop/ensure communication of local and global program information to local and global stakeholders including Japan Management, Global Program. Managers, Global SPM, Japan cross-functional leads (JXLs), and JAPAPC PM.
Drive scenario and trade-off analysis, incl. risks, impact at global and local cross-functional project team level.
Oversee execution of marketing application submissions and key interactions with local health authorities.
Advisor to Japan XLs on communication of key local program information.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a relevant field (Preferred advanced degree (MSc / PhD / MBA) or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training).
Drug development experience including deep experience in one or more core drug development and commercialization functions and experience leading teams thru governance process.
Program and project management skills with experience operationalizing strategic initiatives, including cross-functional strategic planning, development of integrated plans, monitoring and driving execution to plan.
Emotional intelligence skills including influencing without authority and navigating within a matrix environment.
