- Maintaining and growing the business in key accounts in line with Cordis strategic goals, with special focus to grow the SELUTION product business in Cardiology and Endovascular
- Ensuring Cordis is the partner of choice within the Cardiology/Endovascular marketplace.
- Responsible for the development and execution of the Commercial Strategy priorities / products of Cordis in your region.
- Undertake specific projects as agreed with the Country lead/General manager
- Propose and identify solutions and ideas to be selected by customers, search for creative solutions
- Lead / coordinate Cordis’s content and communication with key stakeholders in his/her territory
- This role requires close collaboration with internal and external customers to develop relationships and maximize the opportunities within key accounts and regions.
- The account manager is required to think about new approaches, use current solutions, look for synergies cross sector, prepare, negotiate, and submit contracts, tenders ensuring a proper finance approach, an effective implementation and management of contracts / agreements once secured. Collaborate with the Bids & Tender team for price offers
- Analyze and interpret appropriate data to determine upside and downside potential.
- Identify and select key stakeholders in your territory.
- Aim to understand the customer’s interests, generate and test options and explore future service offerings.
- To negotiate agreements to secure long term business contracts / agreements.
- Ability to shape and influence on the different commercial processes, ensuring the best approach for patients / customers and Cordis.
Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain key contacts with key stakeholders, clinical and non-clinical.
- Use Sales force.com for project management and to report opportunities.
- Working in close partnership with your colleagues to share and replicate best practice.
- Network within key stakeholders to identify the key supporters and blockers at all levels. Business Planning and Administration
- Monitor, control and evaluate the implementation and running of tenders/contracts in conjunction with the B&T & Country lead/General manager
- Ensure that all agreements/contracts/tenders meet the overall commercial and pricing strategy and are appropriately approved according to our Commercial Policy.
- Prioritize accounts & targets and work appropriately.
- Ensure the % of visits / time in the field is aligned with the number of key stakeholders in the region.
- Managing and updating/report the information both for Key accounts and other hospital in your territory, for action plans and strategies.
Commercial and Industry Knowledge:
- Monitor both industry and key stakeholders’ developments that may be pertinent. Especially, changes in funding, and treatment which may affect the implementation of the commercial strategy.
- Competition situation / initiatives / projects / strategies/ knowledge.
- Feedback relevant findings into the Cordis Leadership Team.
