Ensuring accuracy & timeliness of payroll activities, results and processes are compliant with company policies and statutory requirement such as local tax regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley policies, and employee data privacy rules.
Exploring opportunities to simplify and automate payroll processes to ensure maximum cost-efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitoring the performance of Agilent's payroll vendor against our Service Level Agreement.
Participate in retrospective and performance review meetings with the payroll vendor.
Manage and provide consultancy to payroll vendor on payroll system setup as well as any payroll issue/problems.
Monitor and manage the payroll vendor to ensure monthly payroll pay-out accurately and on schedule.
Validating test results provided by the payroll vendor for the rollout of new compensation and benefit programs or new statutory requirements.
Temporary assignments or projects as the lead or team member.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
Minimum 2 years of Payroll operations knowledge. Preferably 2 to 4 years practical experience in HR/Payroll; regional HR/payroll experience in a multinational environment.
Have prior experience in handling APAC payroll processes and C&B knowledge will be added advantage.
Strong analytical skills, with a track record of identifying issues and formulating solutions.
A team player with pleasant personality, good attitude and the ability to work independently.
Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight deadlines.
Good spreadsheet skills especially in Excel.
Able to stay back late occasionally to ensure smooth completion of payroll process.
