Develop/adapt reimbursement dossiers to support initial, continued, and expanded listings of products.
Management of tenders, which includes analysis, price strategy, ongoing monitoring of active tenders, forecasting, etc.
Negotiation of the initial tender price.
Cross functional collaboration across sales team, supply chain team to understand their challenges.
Payment recovery from government Institutions.
Working for product inclusion / listing in Institutions formulary.
Provide insight to global and region to understand the India reimbursement and relevant policy environment well.
Interpret competitor information which is available in public domain.
Ensure compliance with payer pricing and reimbursement guideline requirements.
Assess reimbursement opportunities and challenges facing the company's emerging technologies and commercially marketed products and communicate business impact to senior management.
Collaborate with relevant professional groups on key PRA issues relevant to Lilly portfolio.
Establish and manage relationships of mutual interest with key government contacts and external influencers to share Lilly’s position on key PRA issues.
Possess thorough awareness of the P&R environment and customer demands to offer early, pertinent input on local strategic decisions.
Analyse reimbursement, HTA reform proposals and develop legislative revisions and regulatory responses.
Develop visit plans and pay regular visits to relevant committee members, government officers and access thought leaders in coordination with government affairs manager.
Has a thorough awareness of the political climate, healthcare system, and pricing environment.
Creates connections with the decision-makers in charge of price and reimbursement, in particular.
Represent Lilly for PRA and health policy related topics at the industry and business-related organizations and take the lead.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public policy, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, M. Pharm, or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience (4+ years) in corporate affairs, strategic alliances, pricing strategy, and government affairs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry (MNCs preferred).
