Description
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for manufacturing.
- Conduct research to develop new and improved chemical manufacturing processes.
- Perform simulations and modeling of chemical processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement process control strategies to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with chemical processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and safety, to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of processes, including process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and safety protocols.
- Perform the scale up reaction in lab.
- Having good knowledge of crystallization process.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials and equipment for chemical processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in chemical engineering or a related industry.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD).
- Strong knowledge of chemical process design, optimization, and scale-up.
- Familiarity with process control systems and instrumentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to chemical manufacturing.
