• analyze customer’s needs, and translate this into SLIMS workflows
• configure the SLIMS platform to match the lab’s requirements
• create plugins for connecting instruments or displaying custom forms or portals
• acts as the customer voice to influence future product design to meet customer needs
• script a lab's in-silico tools into our integration framework

Typically 4+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.

• You are customer focused
• You work independently, with sense of initiative and a hands-on approach
• You have a degree in life sciences or equivalent experience
• You have a strong affinity for software
• You have knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python with demonstrable coding skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strive to provide excellent customer support
• Able to travel up to 50% of your time
• Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills
• Laboratory experience whether it be in Analytical, Biobanks, Pharma, Biopharma, Genomics, NGS, etc is a plus
• Knowledge of databases, the linux OS, and networking is a plus
