Description

You will manage the contractual matters of Eppendorf SE and its global group companies and support the business units and specialist departments with contractual risk management.
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of contract law processes, both within the department and across departments, managing interfaces.
You will provide legal support to the Eppendorf Group's global sales and global purchasing departments, particularly in the drafting, review, and negotiation of national and international contracts.
As a legal advisor and designer, you will be actively involved in interdisciplinary projects within the Eppendorf Group, working closely with the Legal, IP & Compliance departments.
As a business partner, you will cooperate with various specialist departments, particularly Global Procurement, Global Real Estate, Global OEM, Corporate Finance, Quality Management & Regulatory Affairs, as well as the Eppendorf Group's Market Regions and Business Divisions.
You will further develop standard contracts and the associated processes and structures and update general terms and conditions.
You will advise national and international group companies and specialist departments on a wide range of company-relevant legal issues and on the creation of contract templates.
You will design and conduct training sessions for specialist departments.
You will implement legal tech and AI in the Corporate & Commercial Law department (e.g., document and contract management systems).
You will select and manage external lawyers in Germany and abroad.
You will resolve legal disputes.

Qualifications

You are a fully qualified lawyer (First and Second State Examinations) with above-average exam results.
You have several years of professional experience in international industrial companies or internationally active law firms with a focus on the above-mentioned areas.
A doctorate and/or L.L.M. is desirable.
You have in-depth knowledge and experience in national and international commercial and business law, particularly in distribution law (including distribution antitrust law) and in drafting cross-border contracts.
You are characterized by strong commercial and strategic thinking and see yourself as a business partner for the relevant business areas and specialist departments.
You are interested in legal tech and AI.
Ideally, you have experience in the life sciences industry.
You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
You are fluent in written and spoken legal English.
You work independently, reliably, and solution-oriented, and have a very good understanding of business contexts.
You enjoy working independently, proactively and responsibly as well as in a team.
