The primary focus of this role is to lead a growing team to achieve innovative and quality outcomes for clients. There are 3 parts to this role that will see you work with your direct team as well as other IQVIA business units.

The team:

  • Provide direction/management for the account/project and program delivery team
  • Ensure a quality outcome for all projects and programs
  • Mentor, train, support and motivate individual team members

Business development:

  • Be a trusted partner for Vivacity Health’s clients; maintain existing client relationships and drive organic growth
  • Seek out new opportunities and develop and deliver strategic proposals using Vivacity Health and IQVIA resources, offerings and great minds
  • Identify and participate in long-term growth opportunities for the business (Vivacity Health and IQVIA, particularly Contract Sales and Medical Solutions)

Project delivery and finance:

  • Have hands on responsibility for a small number of key clients/projects
  • Set and track financial financial targets for Project Directors and Senior Project Managers
  • Ensure resourcing needs are planned and allocated on a daily, weekly and yearly basis
  • Report monthly to finance

Organisational Relationships:

This position will report into the General Manager/Senior Director of Vivacity Health

Direct reports include Project Directors and Senior/Project Managers.


  • Minimum 8+ years client service experience in a healthcare agency
  • A passion for healthcare communications, for dreaming up creative solutions and making them a reality
  • Visionary and excited about being part of what you create
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to achieve outstanding results
  • Excellent track record in planning and executing marketing strategies
  • Experience managing at least 3 direct reports
  • Excellent project management skills

Preferred Skills

  • Very strong communication skills – internal, with clients and with healthcare professionals
  • Results and performance-focused
  • In-depth understanding of medical education, digital marketing and health programs
  • Proactive nature and ability to get the job done with initiative
  • Experience in financial management with responsibility for revenue targets and business planning
  • Being a team player, always willing to share knowledge, help out a teammate, and go that extra mile
